Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily construct a foundation above the sea, by a method wherein a precast concrete body, having holes formed in a similar arrangement position to that of foundation pile heads, is monolithically supported at an under surface of a steel grid frame and above the sea, and the precast concrete body is supported above the sea and on the pile heads.
CONSTITUTION: A steel grid frame 4, which is arranged in coincidence with a driving arrangement of foundation piles, and a precast concrete body 2, which has holes 10 formed in an under surface thereof an mating foundation piles 3, are monolithically manufactured through the medium of stays 12 in a manufacturing yard beforehand. The piles 3 are inserted through the holes 10 in the precast concrete body 2 and are then lowered, the pile heads being brought into contact with the steel grid frame 4. This causes the precast concrete body 2 to be supported on the foundation piles 3.
