Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the existing docks in a method of building a maritime structure by building segments divided into plurality in the same or separate docks and using a plurality of adjacent docks only when finally assembling the maritime structure by bonding the segments.
CONSTITUTION: Large-sized maritime structure is divided into segments 6a, 6b, etc. The segments are built in a dock 1a to be completed separately. The dock 1a is poured with water to float the completed segments 6a, 6b, etc. and to move out them from the dock 1a. Then, the segments 6a, 6b are again entered into docks 1a, 1b separately. After they are positioned, joints 7 are welded integrally to thus complete large-sized maritime structure. After the completion of the structure, both the docks 1a, 1b are poured with water to move out the structure from the docks 1a, 1b.
