Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify a steel plate cell work for revetment by driving a lower- stage pile of round steel plate cell deeply into the seabed through an upper- stage pile in the execution of a round cell work for constructing the revetment. CONSTITUTION:A round cell 9 is assembled by combining plural numbers of lower piles 1 consisting of tubular body 4 having reinforcing plates 5 radially provided inside and also couplers 6 provided on both sides and cell steel plates 2 consisting of curved steel plates with couplers 8 to be connected with said couplers 6 by using their couplers. The round cell 9 is driven into the seabed by a given length and footed, and then the lower end of an upper-stage pile 3 having the same shape as the lower-stage pile 1 and also the same couplers 11 on both sides is joined with the upside of the lower-stage pile 1 in such a way that the couplers 11 are coupled with the couplers 8 of the cell steel plates 2. Then, the upper-stage pile 3 is driven to drive the lower-stage pile 1 deeply into the seabed and footed. And so, sand, etc., is filled.
