Abstract

PURPOSE:To construct a strong semipermanent structure by a simplified field construction work in which piles, connecting bars, and anchor bars are simply combined as the piles are driven. CONSTITUTION:A concrete pile 1 of a nearly square cylinder from with a hollow 2 is provided with projections 3 and projections 4 with couplers 5. The piles 1 are driven in one row, and the adjacent couplers 5 are connected with each other. On the other hand, the banking side of the piles 1 are orderly connected with connecting bars with plural coupling projections 6, and anchor bars 10 having heads 8 on their one ends and anchor plates 9 on their other ends are horizontally set on the upside of the connecting bars 7. The anchor plates 9 are buried inside of the degraded face B of soil, and the lowermost anchor bar 10 is provided with a projection 11 by which the horizontal resistance of the banking against the force of tidal wave is increased.
