Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure an A/D convertion with high accuracy and good linearity, by setting a compensating capacitor between an optional resistance joint and the earth of a circuit network that produces the reference voltage and accordingly suppressing the voltage variance of a reference-voltage generating terminal. CONSTITUTION:Resistances 21-28 are connected in cascase to a reference- voltage generating part that applies a reference voltage to a comparator. Application voltages VMAX and VMIN are applied between terminals of the resistances 21-28. The voltage divided by each of the resistances 21-28 is applied to a comparator using an analog signal for its input in the form of the reference voltage. The compensating capacitors 71-79 are connected between the earth and the resistance joints of the resistances 21-28 and a joint between the voltages VMAX and VMIN. When the variance of voltage is suppressed for the generating terminals of the reference voltages V1-V7. When the number of input bits is large, each resistance is divided into resistance blocks 81 and 82-816. Then the compensating capacitors 71 and 72-717 are provided to the blocks 81 and 82-816, respectively. Thus the variance is suppressed for the voltages V1 and V2-V17 which are applied to the comparators, respectively.
