Abstract
PURPOSE:To make analogue-digital conversion high-precision and high-speed, by comparing a sampled input analogue voltage and a comparison reference voltage, which passes through a 1/2 attenuator, with each other by applying the comparison reference voltage to the 1/2 attenuator again after adding the comparison voltage to the comparison reference voltage or as it is on the basis of the comparison result to obtain the comparison reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:An input analogue voltage Vin is held in a voltage holding circuit 21(C), and a reference voltage Vref is held in a voltage holding circuit 21(A). A voltage holding circuit 21(B) holds the zero level, and an output Vc of an analogue adder 22 becomes Vref. The output of the adder 22 passes through a 1/2 attenuator 24 to become a comparison reference voltage VE, and this voltage VE is applied to a comparator A11. If VE>VF [the output of the cirucuit 21(C)] is true, a control signal phi2 is set to 1, and control signals phi1, phi3, and phi4 are set to 0. If VE<=VF is true, the signal phi2 is set to 1, and signals phi1, phi3, and phi4 are set to 0. Hereafter, signals are set similarly, thereby obtaining a desired digital value from Vout.
