An input voltage is inputted to analog comparators 1Q-nQ in parallel through a resistor R0. The analog input voltage is converted into a current at the resistor R0 and compared with a reference current value. When an output terminal of the high- order bit goes to ''H'', a current with a weight comparable to the weight of the upper-order bit is added to the input side of all the analog comparaters having the low-order bit than the bit.
