Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce thin substrates for clocks with man-hours reduced considerably, by punching a band material into the external form of the substrate while leaving bridge parts as they are and cutting bridge parts and holding again the substrate on the band material by these cut parts and separating the substrate from the band material finally. CONSTITUTION:A band material 5a is blanked into an external form 5b of a substrate 5 including pilot holes 5f and various holes 5c while leaving bridge parts 5d as they are (a). The substrate 5 is subjected to a piercing process, a sawing process, etc. continuously (b), and a pin 6 or the like worked in the independent process is supplied automatically to the substrate 5 and is press-fitted and fixed (c). Bridge parts 5d of the band material 5a are cut, and a spring bag of a metallicide is utilized to hold a completed substrate 7 on the band material 5a through bridge parts 5d again just after cutting (d). Finally, the band material 5a with the substrate 7 is arranged on a carrier jig 8 for movement assembly used in the succeeding process, and the substrate 7 is taken out of the band material 5a (e) and is inserted to the jig 8 for movement assembly, thus terminating the working for the band material.
