Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce a torque lap of an electromagnetic clutch and an electromagnetic brake by energizing them in a reverse direction for a short time at the time of deenergizing the clutch or brake. CONSTITUTION:Transistors Tr1-Tr4 connected in a bridge are provided as a circuit which controls the energization of an exciting coil Sc of an electromagnetic clutch and exciting coil Sb of an electromagnetic brake. When the coil Sc is energized, the trsnsistors Tr1, Tr4 are conducted by a control circuit E1. When the coil Sc is, on the other hand, deenergized, the transistors Tr1, Tr4 are interrupted by the circuit E1, and the other transistors Tr2, Tr3 are conducted for a short time. In this manner, the elimination of a torque can be accelerated rapidly thereby reducing the torque lap of the clutch and the brake.
