Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep clutch working hour constant regardless of load of an output shaft by equipping two armatures, which connect an input shaft and an output shaft in the normal rotary direction and the reverse rotary direction respectively, with separate coil spring devices which energize the armatures. CONSTITUTION:Boss parts 28a, 29a of armatures 28, 29 are respectively equipped with coil spring 30, 31. In case an electromagnetic coil 19 is excited, the armature 28 is attracted and its rotation is restrained. Then the coil spring 30 clamps an input shaft 5 and a connecting member 16, and rotary motion of the input shaft 5 is transmitted to the output shaft 2, which is driven to rotate in the same direction as the input shaft 5. On the other hand, when the coil 20 is excited, rotation of the armature 29 is restained, then the coil spring 31 clamps a short cylindrical body 14 and a connecting member 16 so that rotary motion of said body 14 is transmitted to the output shaft 2, which is driven to rotate in the direction reverse to that of the input shaft 5.
