Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the radiation loss of a heater by a method wherein one end of a heat exchanger removing the heat from another heat source is connected through a circulating pump to the lower efflux port of a hot water storage tank and the other end is connected to the upper influx port of the hot water storage tank. CONSTITUTION:City water is supplied through a supply pipe 10 in the hot water storage tank 1. When the circulating pump 6 and the other heat source apparatus 4 are energized under the condition mentioned above, the water in the hot water storage tank 1 is sent by the operation of the circulating pump 6 throgh the heat exchanger 5, a hot water temperature regulating valve 7 from the influx port 2 back into the hot water storage tank 1. During the circulating motion of the water as described above, the water in the hot water storage tank 1 turns into hot water by obtaining the heat generated in the other heat source apparatus 4 at the part of the heat exchanger 5 and the hot water flows from the influx port 2 of the hot water storage tank 1 into the hot water storage tank 1 so as to be stored in order from the above tank of the hot water storage tank 1.
