Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a continuous hot water supply for a long time and improve the rising characteristic of the instant hot water reservoir and supplier by providing a hot water bypass pipe in a hot water supply pipe from a circulation heat exchanger to a hot water reservoir and a three-way valve to switch over the water passage to a hot water pipe or the hot water reservoir. CONSTITUTION:A water heater 3 is provided below the hot water reservoir integrally therewith. The circulation heat exchanger 5 of the water heater 3 is connected to the hot water reservoir 1 through the hot water supply pipe and a water introduction pipe 4. The hot water bypass pipe 13 is provided in the hot water supply pipe 4, while the electric three-way valve 12 is provided in the bypass pipe 13 in the midway to the hot water supply pipe 14 being connected to the top of the hot water reservoir 1. When a temperature sensor 15 provided at the top of the hot water reservoir 1 senses a temperature drop of the water in the reservoir 1, the three- way valve 12 is switched by the output of the sensor 15 to supply the hot water in the water heater 3 through the bypass pipe 13. When the hot water using is stopped, the three-way valve 12 is switched by a flow rate switch 16 in the bypass pipe 13 so as to circulate and heat the water within the hot water reservoir 1.
