Abstract
PURPOSE:To use effectively a laser beam for interception, by receiving directly the laser beam, which is reflected when a laser shutter is closed, in a power sensor to detect the output value of the overall laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A power sensor 14 attached onto a heat sink 15 is arranged on the optical path of a laser beam C which is reflected by a laser shutter 13 when the laser shutter 13 is closed, that is, a laser beam B is intercepted. Thus, when the laser beam B is intercepted, an overall laser beam A is reflected by the laser shutter 13, and the reflected laser beam C is irradiated directly to the power sensor 14. Consequently, the output value of the overall laser beam A is measured directly by connecting a measuring instrument to the power sensor 14.
