Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to safely perform complete combustion with no influence of air stream by a method wherein a combustion chamber is so structured leaktightly as no influx of air is occurred and as well as a combustion sensor is provided in the combustion chamber at the indoor open type hot air heater. CONSTITUTION:Gas jetted out of a gas nozzle 3 sucks in itself primary air from a primary air port 4 and is led to a mixture chamber 6, while being mixed with the primary air in a mixing tube 5, to form a mixture. Said mixture is jetted out of a flame hole part 8 composed of wire gauze into the combustion chamber 10 and ignited with an ignition plug 21 in order to burn. At this time, the combustion chamber 10 is so structured leaktightly as no influx of air is occurred and as well as a guide plate 14 is so constituted as to produce negative pressure at the outlet of an exhaust gas passage 11 in order to realize smooth exhaustion, resulting in improving the flammability of the hot air heater. Furthermore, the oxygen concentration sensor 22 is arranged within the combustion chamber 10 so as to control the combustion of the heater by controlling a primary gas valve 17 in accordance with the output of the sensor 22 through a controlling circuit 20.
