Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase te heating efficiency of a burner, by a method wherein a gas blow-off slit is provided to a blower tube to control the ratio of the air and the form of a flame in a burner which sucks the air for combustion by the negative pressure.
CONSTITUTION: The thin layer of gas fuel, jetted out of a gas blow-off slit 15 in high velocity, flows upward by the Coanda effect along the inside of a tube body 6 located in the position upper than the gas blow-off slit 15, while inducing the surrounding air into a flow. The gas fuel and the above-mentioned air being induced, used for the primary air, are mixed up together in a blow-off part 14, and ejected from an opening 16 to a furnace 4 to form a flame. The ratio of the air to a burner 3 can precisely be controlled, because the volume of the primary air, being induced into the gas fuel which is jetted from a gas blow-off slit 15, is proportional to the fed amount of gas fuel. In addition, the length of a flame can also be controlled by moving a blow-off body 10. As a result, the heating efficiency of a heating furnace 1 can be increased.
