Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a superior corrosion preventing property to zinc coated steel products by using cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboxyimide represented by a specified formula as a treating agent or the principal component of the agent. CONSTITUTION:As a treating agent >=1mg/l soln. of cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboxyimide represented by the formula is used. To enhance the uniformly coating, adhering and corrosion preventing properties of the corrosion inhibitor, additives such as phosphate, borate or nitrate may be added to the soln. The treating agent shows its superior corrosion preventing property to steel products plated with Zn or a Zn alloy contg. Mg, Al, Ni, Co, etc.
