Abstract
PURPOSE:To elevate flexural rigidity of a steel plate without increasing wight of a steel material, by providing a deviation to plate thickness in the width direction of a steel plate, in the hot-rolling process of soft steel and high tension steel, and also finish-rolling it in a specific temperature area of >= Ar1 critical point. CONSTITUTION:In the hot-rolling process of soft steel and high tension steel which contains <= about 0.4%C, <= about 1.5%Si, <= about 2.5%Mn, and <= about 0.1% 1 kind or more of Al, Nb, V, Ti, Zr, B, Cu and P, as necessary, and whose Ar3 critical point is <= 800 deg.C, rolling is performed so that the plate width intermediate part has a thickness deviation of 1.1 times or more comparing with the plate end, and also in its finish-rolling stage, the rolling is performed by draft of >= 5% in an area of <= 800 deg.C and >=Ar1 critical point, by which a hot-rolling steel plate which is excellent in fluxural rigidity in the rolling right angle direction, and when it is additionally cold-rolled, holding said thickness deviation, and recovery annealing is performed, its rigidity is further elevated.
