Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of software through reducing the scale of a system and the work of an operator, by fetching a large number of data in a microcomputor in the form of serial data. CONSTITUTION:When a fetching instruction is issued by a microcomputer 1 to a prallel-serial converting part 11 through a control line 14, a clock signal is applied to a power supply controlling part 12 through a scanning clock line 13, and generates 8-bit power supply pattern 00000001, which is given to 8 row wires in a key switch group 4. In this case, only the first row wire of logic 1 goes to an enable state and data showing closing and opening states are fetched in the converting part 11 in parallel from a connected keyswitch 5 through No.1-No.8 column wires. Then, through a control line 15 a convertion completing signal is sent to the computor 1, which fetches the parallel input data as serial data through a transfer line 16, and completes reading of the closing and opening states of the key switches equivalent to one column.
