PURPOSE:To eliminate wiring in a highly integrated control board, by outputting a fault signal from a load protecting means in a power unit through an upper control means and I/O terminals of the highly integrated control board to a field operating board. CONSTITUTION:An intelligent unit 6 in a highly integrated control board, sequence controllers 38, 97 in respective power units 85, 96 and a process I/O controller 94 are connected through a serial transmission path 93. Fault indicating function of a field operating board 60 is realized by the intelligent unit 6 through the process I/O controller 94. State indicating/operating functions 82, 83 of motors 75, 76 associated with the field operating board 60 are realized through wire logic sections 99, 100 in the power units 85, 96. Consequently, fault indicating unit and wiring therefor are not required in the highly integrated control board.
