Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an infrared detector by forming an infrared detecting element and a signal processing circuit in one body. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 14 provided with an infrared detecting element is stuck to one end surface of a circuit substrate provided with a leading out circuit for leading an output emitted out of the infrared detecting element to constitute a constitutent body 10. So as the photodetection surfaces of infrared detecting elements fitted to constituent bodies 10 are laid nearly in the same plane, those constitutent bodies 10 are laminated, and the photodetection surfaces of the infrared detecting elements are laid to have an obtuse angle to the main surfaces of the circuit substrates provided with the leading-out circuits.
