Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a photodetector capable of electrostatic shield by a simple method, by providing a transparent conductive film. CONSTITUTION:A transparent conductive thin film (e.g. indium oxide film with the thickness 2,000Angstrom ) 4 is attached on the side of a light receiving surface A of the photodetector 2 subject to resin mold 5 by sputtering method. This photodetector 2 is so loaded as to contact the surface of the photodetector with a window 3 for introducing the light of a metallic case 1. Thus, the electrostatic shield over the light receiving part can be perfectly performed allowing the reduction of processes as compared with the conventional method wherein a conductive film is adhered on a metallic case window.
