USE: An anthraquinone and a material for liquid crystal display apparatuses or sensors, exhibiting the liquid phase, having a high solubility, and capable of changing the light absorption, photoconductivity, electric conductivity and photoelectromotive force by changing the temperature, applying an electric field, and a magnetic field.
