Abstract

PURPOSE:To copy a number of stabilized images by using a latent image in one time exposure repeatedly, by providing a parallel circuit consisting of a series- connecting material of a resistance and a make and break switch, and a capacitor between an electric conductor layer and a ground. CONSTITUTION:An outer circuit 10 provided in parallel with a series-connecting material of a make and break switch 12 and a variable resistance 13 and a capacitor 12, is connected between an electric conductor layer 1b and a ground. In case plural number of copying, a switch 12 is closed and a photoreceptor is uniformly charged in negative by a primary charging device 2, then the switch 12 is opened and a capacitor 11 is charged by lowering a surface electric potential by irradiating uniformly a positive electric charge by a secondary charging device 3. In the state, an image exposure is performed and when developments and transferrings are repeated with the latent image, a surface electric potential is lowered and toner density is lowered, therefore a surface electric potential is recovered by closing the switch 12 and discharging the capacitor 11 at a proper time. By this way, a number of stabilized images are copied by using a latent image repeatedly with one exposure.
