Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform temperature measurement at two points by forming a ring of magnetic materials differing in Curie temperature, providing those magnetic materials with coils in such a way that pieces of magnetic flux calcel each other, and performing temperature detection on the basis of variations in inductance of those coils. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of magnetic materials 1 and 2 differing in Curie temperature are brought into contact to form a ring 3, and the magnetic materials 1 and 2 are provided with coils 4 and 5 having the same number of turns in series in such a way that their pieces of magnetic flux cancel each other. Then, variation in inductance between terminals (a) and (b) is measured by an alarm device 6 with an inductance measure. This inductance variation occurs at two different temperatures, so temperature detection is performed at two points on the basis of the inductance variation.
