Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable easy copying on plain paper, by forming an electric discharge recording image in a specified manner on an electric discharge recording paper prepared by forming a specified insulation layer and a metal thin film layer on a base material, laying a sheet of paper on said image and heating from the base material side. CONSTITUTION:An insulation layer 2 is formed on a base material (preferably high quality paper of 70-90mum in thickness) by coating with a compound containing a sublimative dye (e.g., a dye for sublimative transfer printing of synthetic textile) and a metal thin film layer 3 (preferably Al) is formed thereon pref. by vapor deposition to obtain a recording paper. After an image is formed by exposing the insulation layer 2 by partially removing the metal thin film layer 3 of said recording paper by electric discharge recording, a sheet of paper is laid over the surface having the image and the image is reproduced on the paper by heating from the base material side. EFFECT:The manufacture of recording paper and discharge recording can be easily performed by conventional facilities. USE:Simple copying, etc.
