Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the endless transfer copying material capable of transferring a seamless continuous picture pattern onto especially the aluminum cylindrical article by a method wherein the mask layers of a resin having the effect of decelerating the transferring of a dye to the surface of a body to be transferred are provided at both ends of an ink layer.
CONSTITUTION: A separating layer 3 is provided on the whole surface of a continuous base sheet 2 and the ink layer 4 longer than the whole periphery of the body to be transferred is provided thereon so that the ink layer is duplicated upon the transferring. Next, the mask layers 5 decelerating the transferring of the dye are provided at both of the ends of the ink layer 4 so as to show wedge shapes arranged laterally with the apexes directed toward the inside of the layer, further, an adhesive layer 6 is provided if necessary and thus the objective transfer copying material 1 is obtained. The drawing of the picture pattern by the transfer copying is effected by rotating and pushing the body 8 to be transferred against a rotating heating roller 7 and the transfer copying material is interposed therebetween. In this case, the transfercopying material 1 is separated between the base sheet 2 and the separating layer 3 and the transfer copying is effected so that the layers below the separating layer 3 have a duplicated part on the surface of the body 8 to be transferred.
