CONSTITUTION:If slide blocks 15a, 15c move to the right side, slide blocks 15a', 15c' move to the left side. Roll chocks 7, 107 move horizontally respectively in opposite directions, and a roll 3 is given an inclination within a horizontal plane with respect to the center of the rolling mill. At this time, the position of the contact line between the liner 16a of a cylindrical projecting surface at the leading end of the block 15a and the plane liner 17a of the chock 7 moves from Po to Pa or Pb. Therefore, when the roll center is on the line O, the contact line is at Po, and when the roll centerline is on the line A, the contact line is at Pa. When the roll centerline is on the line B, the contact line is at Pb.
