Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the dehumidifying element carrying out dehumidification in good efficiency while adsorbed heat during dehumidification is removed by a method wherein a corrugated sheet like moisture absorbing base material and an air passing base material are alternately laminated so as to mutually cross air passages and a cooling gas and water are passed through the air passing base material.
CONSTITUTION: An air passing base material 2 prepared by glueing or fusing a corrugated sheet like material and a separating sheet not absorbing moisture comprising, for example, a plastic film or the like and a dehumidifying base material 3 prepared by glueing fusing a corrugated sheet like material and a separating sheet having a moisture absorbing capacity are alternately laminated so as to mutually cross air passages B, A thereof to constitute the dehumidifying element 1. While a wet gas is passed to the direction shown by an arrow A, moisture therein is adsorbed by the dehumidifying base material 3 and a cooling fluid (air and water) is passed through the air passing base material 2 toward the direction shown by an arrow B to absorb heat generated in the dehumidifying base material 3.
