Abstract

PURPOSE:To wash a nozzle well by supplying a washing liquid to a jetting passage from a pressure vessel storing it by way of a valve actuated with a timer, setting the jetting passage to a channel for a liquid to be atomized. CONSTITUTION:An atomizing nozzle has a path for introducing a washing liquid while equipped with a check valve, for example, a ball valve 13 at a part of the supply side 12 of a channel 1 for a liquid to be atomized. The channel 3 is mounted to an atomizing nozzle body as an introducing tube 31 and the tip thereof is set to a jetting port of the channel 1, communicating to a pressure vessel for the washing liquid by means of a proper conduit. A solenoid valve in linkage with a timer, for instance, is provided somewhere in the course of the communicating path, preferably close to the atomizer to allow the interruption of the pressurized liquid. This can prevent the closing of the atomizing nozzle.
