CONSTITUTION:A sub-CH register 1 storing the information relating to the input and output operation progressing at the same time is provided in a channel CH device and each input and output corresponding sub-CH 2 is provided with a trace flag 3 which determines whether the operation career information of the corresponding input/output device is sampled. A microprogram muPG6 reads out the corresponding CH2 to execute the input and output operation and the readout information is set to data register 4. In this case, the muPG6 discriminates whether the flag 3 is 1 or not by a signal 5, and when 1, the career information of the corresponding input and output device during operation is read out from an I/O data register 9 and set to a CH write data register 7 by setting a gate 12. Further, the muPG6 forms a signal 8 and writes the career information to a specific address 15 in trace information storage area 14.
