CONSTITUTION:The speed data of a vehicle running speed detector 1 is stored in a speed memory circuit 3 and inputted to a speed reduction operating circuit 2. The output thereof is given to a speed reduction ratio limit detecting comparator 5 and compared with a preset value. Then the output is stored in a sudden speed change memory circuit 9 through s sudden speed change detecting circuit 9. Then the address before and after the hard braking time are computed by an address computing operation circuit 14 and given to an address comparator 13. A data readout control circuit 12 is controlled by the addresses and the output of the memory circuit 9, and data is read out of the memory circuit 3 and written into a main memory circuit. Therefore, the running speed information at the time of sudden speed change can be collected at a very close time interval, and the large capacity memory can be omitted.
