Abstract
PURPOSE:To cope with test pieces differing in length and to obtain high precision even when an oscillation frequency is high by making the upper and lower positions of an oscillation base for clipping a test piece freely settable, and enabling the external circumference wall of a thermostatic chamber to be expanded and contracted vertically. CONSTITUTION:On a base 14, a couple of left and right trestles 15 are stood and an oscillation generator 5 is arranged on the beam parts 22 of the trestles 15 with its oscillation base 6 down through air springs 4 equipped with upward and downward guiding mechanisms 4a. Further, a load detector 1 is arranged directly on the base 14 oppositely to the oscillation base 6. A test piece 12 is clamped between the load detector 1 and oscillation base 6 while fitting plates 13 are arranged on its top and reverse surfaces and a heat insulating plate 16 is provided between one fitting plate 13 and the load detector 1, and the upper and lower positions of the oscillation base 6 which correspond to the effective length of the test piece 12 are set accurately by the air springs 4. The external circumference wall of a thermostatic chamber 28 containing the test piece 12 is made of a cylindrical flexible member 31 which expands and contracts vertically.
