Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a fan and to reduce the noise by providing a plurality of static vanes at the delivery side of an impeller while bending in the rotary direction thereby reducing the slewing component of the flow delivered from the impeller. CONSTITUTION:The outer tube is eliminated from the delivery side of the impeller 1 while a plurality of static vanes 3 bent in the rotary direction B are provided radially at the delivery side. The flow from the impeller 1 will slew in the rotary direction B of the impeller 1 and the slew flow is reduced by the static vane 3 thereby the static pressure will increase to improve the efficiency of the fan. Furthermore when bending the static vane 3 in the rotary direction B of the vane 1, the skew effect is produced and the noise due to the collision between the flow from the impeller 1 and the static vane 3 can be suppressed.
