CONSTITUTION:The surface of a zinc electroplated steel plate is subjected to chromate treatment so as to deposit 10-60mg/m<2> Cr, and an aqueous soln. contg. 100pts.wt. polyacrylic acid blended with 2-8pts.wt. CrO3 is apllied to the treated surface and dried. The weight of both the films is regulated to 0.35- 4g/m<2>. Thus, by forming the polyacrylic acid-chromic acid film on the chromate film, the sticking of a fingerprint can be prevented surely and macroscopically, and the adhesive strength to a coating and the corrosion resistance are enhanced.
