Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an oscillation unit with high reliability, easy setting of conditions, and high productivity, by forming parts other than a seal part between a case and a cover and leads through the case with a kovarmember and a kovar glass. CONSTITUTION:A case 5 has a space for an oscillator 3 and is provided with a stand 10 to fix the oscillator 3 and two leads 6 for electric connection pass through the stand 10. In a seal part, a frame 7 melt-stuck with case kovar glass is formed and a low melting point metal is coated on the surface. A cover 8 is made of kovar member and a kovar glass is imbedded at the part and gold plating or the like is made on the surface. The oscillator 3 is fixed to the stand of the case 5 and the electric connections with the lead terminals 6 are made, and next the cover 8 is placed on the case 5 and sealing is made by melting the low melting point metal of the seal under vacuum.
