Abstract
PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the cost with a case for an oscillator remarkably small-sized and thinned and with increased workabity and mass-productivity, by using the construction that a base, support leads, the oscillator and a cover are piled up as a plane. CONSTITUTION:A support lead 14 is soldered to a plating part 13 of a projection 11 formed in one body with a base made of insulator such as ceramic and glass. The support leads 14 are electrically connected to the bottom surface of the base 10 through a through-hole 12 with plated inner wall between the projection 11 and the base 10, Next, the lower base of a coupling tuning fork type quartz oscillator 15 is soldered to the leads 14. Further, a recessed cover 16 made of an insulator such as ceramic and glass is bonded to the base 10 under vacuum.
