Abstract

PURPOSE:To utilize an effective quantity of oil to a maximum limit and prevent seizure caused from shorts of an oil quantity, by providing an oil filter in an oil reservoir part of a crank case, providing a suction pipe in the oil filter and sucking lubricating oil from suction ports in the lower part of said suction pipe. CONSTITUTION:A crank case 1 comprises a crank chamber 1a and oil reservoir part 2, and an oil filter 3 is provided in the oil reservoir part 2, then an oil suction pipe 11 is inserted into said oil filter. In this constitution, effective height of an oil quantity during operation is increased by the height H2-H1 as compared with a conventional case only with the oil filter 3. That is, reservoir oil can be effectively utilized by the height for oil suction ports placed lower.
