Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent seizing by well lubricating a piston pin and the rear side of a piston. CONSTITUTION:Injection pipes 9 are formed at the upper portion of a connecting rod 1 near a piston pin hole 2, one end being fixed to the rod 1 and projected obliquely and the other end being communicated with the upper portion of a long hole 4 and the upper end being positioned on both ends of the pin hole 2 inside a piston which is fitted to the upper end of the rod 1 by means of the piston pin inserted in the hole 2. As the connecting rod starts vertical movement together with the piston, oil, sucked in a space between a crank pin and crank pin hole 3, flows from an inlet 6 into the long hole 4 through a valve chamber 5. Then it is injected through the injection pipes 9 to lubricate and cool the piston pin as well as the rear side of the piston for preventing seizing.
