Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform uniform distribution of fuel, by pulverizing and uniformly diffusing the injection fuel. CONSTITUTION:A introduction port 14 of a fuel injection valve is aligned to an air bypass passage 23 communicating an air hole 17, detouring a throttle valve 18, to a jet hole 19. A swirler 12, formed with plural stripes of spiral grooves, is press fitted to a fuel passage, the center hole of a nozzle tip 11, and this nozzle tip 11 is inserted into the center part of a nozzle cover 13, formed with a plurality of air introduction ports 14a, 14b, etc. to its side wall surface, then an annular fine gap 15 is formed between a tapered part 25 of the nozzle tip 11 and a conical slope in the nozzle cover 13. The fuel injection valve is operated in such a manner that when fuel passes through the groove of the swirler 12, the fuel is spirally moved, and jetted as a conical surface liquid film at outflowing from a conical opening of the nozzle tip 11. Further the liquid film can be pulverized by air from the air introduction port.
