Abstract
PURPOSE:To conduct various controls with high accuracy, by arranging a thermosensor in the breaker plate of an extruding machine so as to directly measure the temperature of a molten resin. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensor (thermocouple) 40 is inserted into a narrow slit 32 formed from the periphery toward the center of a breaker plate 30, to directly measure the temperature of a molten resin passing through the die holes 34 of a cross head 10. The temperature of the molten resin can be accurately measured without any affection by a heater 12 or the like. Consequently, an overload accident, which would be caused by the too lower temperature of the resin especially at the start of operation, can be prevented.
