Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase and decrease the number of operated boilers safely and securely by causing a turbine bypass control system, a boiler stop valve control system and a steam-regulating valve inlet pressure control system to cooperate with each other so as to change the total output of the plant in accordance with the starting of an additional boiler and the stopping thereof. CONSTITUTION:When applying to a plant wherein steams from three boilers 1 are fed to one turbine, a control device is provided which comprises a pressure controller 9 to control each turbine bypass valve 11 individually and a common pressure controller 13, and controls the valve 11 by an output from a high-signal selector 10 which is fed with the outputs from the controllers 9, 13. Each of the controllers 9, 13 is fed with pressure set points according to outputs from a transmitter of the input pressure of a steam regulating valve 3, minimum and maximum pressure setters 21 and 23 and a common pressure setter 16. Also provided is a control device which controls a boiler stop valve 2 by the outputs from high-speed and low-speed on-off controllers 25, 26. Further provided is a control device which incorporates a pressure controller 34 to control the steam regulating valve 3 by the outputs from a pressure transmitter 12, a pressure setter 33 and the like.
