Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize frequency characteristic in a phase compounding circuit in which a coupling resistor is matrix connected between a 4-phase distributor and an output amplifier by adding a resistor for phase compensation by matrix connection and thereby compensating reactance component. CONSTITUTION:Signals inputted to an input terminal 4 are distributed into signals of equal amplitude different in phase by 90 deg. by a 4-phase distributor 2. Any two signals having phase difference of 90 deg. are supplied to respective output line through coupling resistors 3, 4 and 5, 6. By changing the amount of coupling, signals having optional phase deviation can be given to output amplifiers 7, 8. Further, a compensating resistor 14 is connected between 2 outputs out of 4 outputs of the distributor 2 which are not used for phase compounding and coupled lines. The value of the resistor 14 is made greater than those of resistors 3- 6, and the value is so selected that coupling by resistance can be neglected. However, the same shape of resistor as that of coupling resistors is used so as to make the reactance component of the resistors nearly equal.
