Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the necessary phase shift amount as well as to minimize the amplitude variation to the phase shift amount by connecting the composite differential amplifiers featuring a small range of the phase variation in a multi-step and vertical way.
CONSTITUTION: The phase shift circuit such as delay circuit 11 is provided at the base side of input transistor TrQ5, and at the same time amplitude attenuation circuit 12 is installed at the base side of input TrQ6. And input signal a sinωt is applied to the base side of TrQ5 and Q6 each. The output of TrQ5 and Q6 are supplied to the pair of TrQ1 and Q2 forming composite diffferential amplifier 13 of the 1st step as well as to the emitter of the pair of TrQ2 and Q4. The mixture ratio between TrQ5 and Q6 is decided by control differential voltage V1-V2, and the mixture output is obtained at collector resistance RC. This output is then applied to phase shifter 15 of the 2nd step through impedance conversion attenuation circuit 14.
