Abstract

The receiver/transmitter duplexer consists of four sections of conducting strip which can be in the form of a printed circuit the design allowing some freedom in the choice of the impedance of the lines. Power in the lines is, due to coupling between the lines, divided into two equal parts such that isolation between the sources is theoretically infinite, in practice greater than 25db. Signals reaching one source from the other are 180 deg. out of phase resulting in a zero level at the second generator.
