Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the linearity between the input and the output by connecting the current Miller circuit to the collectors of the 1st and 2nd transistors and thus supplying the equal current to both transistors. CONSTITUTION:The emitters of 1st and and 2nd NPN transistors TrQ1 and Q2 are connected in common to current source IA, and at the same time the current Miller circuit consisting of PNPTrQ7-Q9 is connected to the collectors of TrQ1 and Q2. As a result, the equal current I2 can be supplied to TrQ1 and Q2. While the equal current I1 is supplied in the same way to 3rd and 4th TrQ3 and Q4. In such constitution, output current i2 is expressed by Eq. (8) (i1 is the input current, current source IB=2I1). And as it is clear in Eq. (8), the linear control is possible for input/output current gain i2/i1 by varying the ratio between current sources IA and IB.
