Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure waterproofing, by fixing a printed substrate having a flow rate sensor driving circuit to a base having an air exhausting hole, which is provided through a chamber having an air hole and a space. CONSTITUTION:The air hole 22 is provided in the chamber 5 of an intake pipe. The printed substrate 7 is attached to the base 20 having the air exhausting hole through the space 21. The base 20 is provided in the chamber 5. The hot wire sensor 4 for measuring the air flow is provided in a bypass 3 of the intake pipe 1. A current controlling power transistor 8 for the sensor 4 is provided on the printed substrate 7. A shielding metal case 9 is provided on the outer part of the printed substrate 7 through a chamber 5 and packings 10 and 11. In this constitution, the air pressure in the air exhausting hole and the air hole 22 can be adjusted even though the air pressure in the case 9 is changed due to the temperature change in an engine room. Even though the space 21 is filled with water, it can be discharge through the air hole. Therefore perfect waterproofing can be obtained.
