Abstract
PURPOSE: To mount a heat pipe to a metallic plate for heat conduction by small thermal resistance by a method wherein the heat pipe is shrinkage-fitted into a hole formed to a metallic block with a flat outer circumference, and the block is fixed to the flat metallic plate for heat conduction by means of a usual method.
CONSTITUTION: A heat pipe 1 with a circular section is shrinkage-fitted and unified with a hole 3 made up to a square pillar metallic block 2. The metallic block 2 is fixed integrally to a metallic plate 4 for heat conduction by means of screws 5 or soldering, adhesives or the like. Thus, thermal resistance between the heat pipe 1 and the metallic plate 4 for heat conduction is decreased, and the usual fitting method can be used.
