Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the monitoring cover of the opening meter from being blurred, by providing a communicating channel communicating the inside of the opening meter with an oil layer held in the operating layer for a water gate.
CONSTITUTION: A follower shaft 7 geared with the driving shaft of the operating device for the water gate is linked to the pointer 31 of the opening meter 25 through the intermediary of worm devices 19 and 20a, a worm shaft 20 and a pointer fitting shaft 27. The worm shaft 20 and the pointer fitting shaft 27 are formed in a tubular body having a communicating channel 32 and communicate the inside 29 of the opening meter 25 isolated from the outside air with the oil layer of an oil gauge 24 set in the operating device for the water gate.
