Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a double pipe that have uniform layer thickness and are tightly adhered by the min. fusion layer by casting an outer layer of Fe-Ni-Cr type heat resisting steel of specific components and allowing the same to solidify down to the inside then casting heat resisting steel of specific components. CONSTITUTION:In casting a double pipe by centrifugal casting for reaction pipe for thermal decomposition and modification of hydrocarbons, the 1st layer is cast of Fe-Ni-Cr type heat resisting steel contg., by weight, 0.2-0.6% C, <=2.5% Si, 20-30% Cr, <=2.5% Mn, and 15-40% Ni and is allowed to solidify down to the innermost part, after which heat resisting steel consisting essentially, by weight, of 1.5-3.5% C, <=2.5% Si, 12-30% Cr and <=2.5% Mn is cast for the 2nd layer.
