Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the austenite steel with excellent corrosion resistance, high temp. strength and swelling resistance obtained by adding a specific ratio of C, Mo, P, B, Ti, Nb, Zr to the Cr-Ni austenite steel.
CONSTITUTION: The Cr-Ni austenite steel containing either one or both of 0.03W 0.15% C, 1.0W3.0% Mo, 0.02W0.05% P and 0.0010W0.01% B and, further, containing one or more of Ti, Nb, Zr in a range satisfying the formula is prepared. Further, it is pref. to adjust Cr to about 9W26% and Ni to about 6W45% and, moreover, it is appropriate to adjust Mn to about 2.00% or less and Si to about 2.0% or less.
